Said Stephanie Brat Pratt, during yet another cry for attention club opening at the Congra room in Los Angeles on December 10.

Why do we care what these reality show losers say? Negotiating your way onto a reality show to gain fame, club hopping, starting drama between "friends", endless partying...who really is the gross one?

Buzz has been hot about Amanda and Doug Reinhart being an item, and the two further speculated rumors by recently grocery shopping and going out to another Lakers game, yesterday.



And if this photo doesn't confirm things, I don't know what does!

'Hairspray 2' set for July 2010

MTV Movies Blog today revealed exclusively the plot details for Hairspray 2, which is set to begin shooting as early as April of 2009.

Producers Scott Whittman and Marc Shaimain, along with director Adam Shankman are attached from the first film, with no other cast members announced or confirmed yet.

The plot details, according to Shaiman:

"People hate Tracy (Nikki Blonsky) because she doesn’t lose weight. They ask ‘Now that you’re famous, why won’t you lose weight?’. And Link (Efron) experiments with drugs. Throughout half the movie, he has an ongoing dialogue with three pimples on his forehead.”

“Edna (John Travolta) loses weight, but sees her husband (Christopher Walken) lusting after fat women,” Shaiman laughed, citing one of the musical numbers he’s particularly eager to write. “And so, she finally breaks down and runs over to a snack table. Just within one number, she gets fat again; gaining 20 pounds at a time. [Her fat] pops out, and by the end of the song she’s completely at her old weight again.”

Amanda and Doug again took their relationship public, this time at a Lakers Game yesterday.

There has been some concern over Amanda dating this "player" from The Hills among fans, but there is no need to worry, as a source close to Doug candidly told E! News:

"They haven’t had sex. And she doesn’t drink. She is kind of funny in a nerdy way."

We don't know what's true or not. We know Amanda is smart and a good girl. Take all of this gossip with a grain of salt.

Breaking the Cycle

Amanda is now part of a very important charity campaign called Break the Cycle, dedicated to ending teen dating violence.

Amanda speaks at Oscar De La Hoya Animo Charter High School.

As many as one in three teens will deal with physical, sexual, verbal, or emotional abuse in a relationship.

This is something Amanda herself has personally experienced, she revealed when speaking about her ex to Cosmopoliton magazine. "(He) ended up breaking my heart. I was so hurt. I’m a confident person, but it killed me."

As part of her involvement, Amanda will travel to high schools to speak to youth and raise awareness about the problem.

You can sign the online petition to encourage states to pass laws requiring middle and high schools to teach about healthy relationships.

Travolta unlikely for Hairspray sequel

John Travolta seems unlikey to reprise his role as Edna Turnblad in the planned Hairspray 2. He told Australia's Sunday Daily Sun, "I think once is enough. I did it and I did it well but I'm not a big sequel guy."

Playbill pointed out that Travolta did do two sequels, so don't lose hope yet! Adam Shankman is also still for the idea.

"I never thought of musicals as franchises, but it certainly worked with 'High School Musical,' and the idea of working with that cast again, and creating new material and music, is a dream come true. John (Waters) has such an original and extraordinary voice; we all can't wait to see what he has come up with."

...Amid all its emotion, "Living Proof" also has lots of details and detours. Viewers need an entry point; they get that from Amanda Bynes, playing a bewildered liberal-arts major working as Slamon's new aide.

It was typecasting, Bynes says. "I'm definitely not a science major."

At home, her dad (a dentist) and brother (a chiropractor) know the big words; Bynes, who had her own comedy show at 13, knows humor. Now, Connick explains things to her.

"It was based on his research assistant," she says. "In the end, she went to medical school."

Bynes emerged with a deep respect for Connick ("he's a tremendously nice person") and of the man he portrays.

Amanda Bynes, Emmy Rossum, Michele Tratchenburg, and Katy Perry joined Perez Hilton for a party on October 5th.

We decided to throw an impromptu house party on Saturday night - thanks Eric! - for no special occasion.

It wasn't anyone's birthday. We were just in town, we knew that a bunch of our friends were in town and since it's rare for so many of us to all be here at the same time, we thought it was the perfect opportunity for a party.

No 'Dinner' for Amanda, but maybe more 'Hairspray'

Amanda recently told the press that she is not going to be involved in the revival of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner on Broadway after all, but Hairspray costar Queen Latifah further sparked the rumors of a sequel to the hit movie musical. The actress received a "secret e-mail" about the project and was told to "keep her ears open".

Amanda donates 'Living Proof' salary

Amanda was spotted leaving Louis Vitton in Beverly Hills on September 19. When the photographers asked her about her upcoming movies, she revealed that she donated all of her salary from Living Proof to breast cancer research.

Amanda headed to Broadway?

Amanda may be headed to Broadway in a revival of Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.

The play is based on the beloved 1968 movie, which starred Kathryn Hepburn and Spencer Tracy as the concerned parents of a young woman who brings a black doctor home as her fiance.

According to PR Inside, Amanda Bynes has been lined up to play the couple's daughter in the revival.

Amanda involved in car accident

Amanda was determined at fault for a minor fender bender on Saturday afternoon, although there were no major injuries.

Bynes made an unsafe turn in her BMW when another car hit her around 2 PM. Drugs and alcohol were not involved and Amanda was reported to be very cooperative during an investigation.

Despite what reports are saying, this is NOT Amanda's second accident of 2008.

Taking on the Hilton's and the Trumps?

Adam Shankman, director of Hairspray, has been tapped to direct a new musical that shows the rise and fall of a popular trust fund family from Manhattan. Among the possible cast, our very own Amanda Bynes!

Shankman will also choreograh the musical, based on the tunes of eighties band Electric Light Orchestra.

The film has a working title of The-Trump Hiltons and also listed in the possible cast for the film are Steve Carell, Sarah Jessica Parker, Morgan Fairchild, Leslie Kritzer, and Matthew Broderick.

The film is peggged for a summer 2010 relese.

She's the bridesmaid

Congratulations to Amanda's sister Jillian, who tied the knot in Saturday afternoon in Simi Valley, California. Amanda was a bridesmaid and carried two bouquets of flowers.

'Hairspray 2' optioned by New Line Cinema

A sequel to the $200 million smash hit musical Hairspray is in the works!



New Line Cinema has asked original Hairspray creater John Waters to write a treatment for the film, with hopes to have it in theaters in July of 2010. Already reportedly in for the sequel are original director Adam Shankman, lyricists Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, and producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan.

Although no cast has been announced, the studio hopes to reunite the entire ensemble from the first film.

Amanda was at LAX airport today! She had to wait for more than 20 minutes to get her luggage but passed the time by listening to her IPod and chatting on the phone. She looks very cute, and check out the footwear. Love it!

Seth McFarlane and Amanda Bynes an item?

Knox News is reporting that Amanda Bynes and Family Guy creator Seth McFarlane could be an item. The pair were allegedly spotted together at Fox's All Star party with Seth following Amanda around everywhere and telling interviewers his date was getting away from him when she would leave his side.

There's not even any confirmation that Amanda was even at the event, because no photos of her have been seen yet, so take this gossip with a grain of salt. The two were photographed at the movies recently, but friends see movies together too don't they?

Bynes and the bachelorette

Amanda was photograhed at a bachelorette party in Las Vegas over the weekend.



Her sister Jillian is the rumored bride to be, and their group of ladies chowed at Sushi Roku inside Caesars Palace Friday night before chatching the 11 p.m. show of Thunder from Down Under at Excalibur on Saturday.
