See you next year!

P.S. Don't forget to read my five favorite Amanda moments of 2007 and see if you agree!

The 5 best moments to be an Amanda fan in 2007

5. Dear By Amanda Bynes/Sydney White

Amanda realized one of her lifelong dreams when she was asked to design a line of apparel for Steve and Barry's. A few month's later, it's the fastest selling line at the store. Also, Amanda appeared in her first college comedy, Sydney White. Although it didn't set the box office on fire, fans enjoyed seeing Amanda's spin on the classic tale.

4. Awards

Finally, Amanda began to be recognized in Hollywood. This year, she took home Rising Star at the Turks and Caico's Film Festival and Us Weekly's Hot Hollywood Good Girl. She was also nominated and won awards as part of the ensemble cast of Hairspray.

3. Red Carpet Appearances

Amanda debuted new blonde hair throughout her many appearances on the red carpet this year. I wonder if she found that blondes do have more fun?

2. A Role Model

While other girls her age were driving drunk, checking in and out of rehab, going to jail, and forgetting to put on underwear, Amanda made it clear that she was drug and alcohol free and is keeping her eye on the prize...a long career.

1. Hairspray

Image Hosted by PicturePush

Amanda made everyone sit up and pay attention when she made her musical debut as Penny Pingelton in Hairspray. She recieved some of the best reviews of her career, pulling double duty as an actress and a singer. The film was nominated for multiple awards including Best Picture at the Golden Globe and multiple nominations for Best Ensemble. Here's hoping projects like Hairspray are a glimpse into bigger suprises in 2008.

What was your favorite Amanda moment of 2007?

Bynes won't fall prey to older men

From PR Inside:

Actress Amanda Bynes was preyed on as a vulnerable young starlet - by shady older movie industry figures who tried to seduce her.

The 21-year-old, who refuses to reveal the culprits, claims her good upbringing gave her the wits and strength to rebuff their advances.

She says, "I definitely met some guys who go for young girls. My parents taught me to watch out for those guys. Guys who like interchangeable young actresses." The Hairspray actress also dislikes actresses who hook up with wealthy men just for their money: "I don't need a man for money or fame. I make my own money."

I think the people that wrote this may have overexaggerated. This is something Amanda told Tyra Banks about when asked about dating. She didn't really say she was preyed on or anything dangerous.

Dear in Troy, Michigan

AmericaJR spoke to Amanda when she made an appearance in Troy, Michigan. There were hundreds of fans in line described to be like one seen at Disney World!

Image Hosted by PicturePush

"I've always been a big fan of clothes. I love drawing. It's a fun little side job for me to do."

The actress joins Sarah Jessica Parker and Vanessa Williams with clothing collections at Steve & Barry's. "It's very exciting. I love them both. It's a very fun thing for me," she said.

The "Dear" fashion line launched at Steve & Barry's stores on August 16. All of the items are guaranteed to be priced below $20. The clothes are targeted towards teenage girls. "It's a fast selling line," the actress said.

Everything was designed by the star herself. Steve & Barry's ran some ideas by her but she had to give final approval before anything was produced. Bynes said: "It took about six months to a year" to go from ideas on paper to the final product.

What does the 21-year-old star enjoy more...performing in a movie, for a TV show or designing clothes? "I love them both," she said. "I always loved performing. I always loved drawing. I hope I don't have to get rid of one of them. Let's just say a little bit of both."

You can listen to an interview with Amanda here.

Amanda's Dear tour comes to an end today in Charlotte, North Carolina. I hope now she gets to take some time off to relax for the holidays!

New York Observer

The New York Observer asked Amanda five questions about Dear:

How did this collaboration with Steve & Barry's come about?

I actually have wanted to be a fashion designer for a long time, but I never really thought it would happen. I've been drawing my whole life and I happened to get a call from Steve & Barry's when I was doing "Hairspray."

Where do you get the inspiration for your own style?

Just walk around the street in New York. It inspires me to, for instance, wear jeans tucked into my boots. To do those little things that take longer like tuck in my jeans or accessorize with a cool scarf. I'm lazy, so I would wear a robe outside. As far as celebrities go, Carrie Bradshaw, Sarah Jessica Parker's character from "Sex and the City." She always looked really chic, but went for it and took risks.... I'm inspired by people that are out of the box.

Do you take any style ideas from the characters you play?

When I did "What a Girl Wants," before it was "in," the wardrobe designer suggested (I wear) a little men's blazer and put all these different pins on it. I would have never thought about it before.

Since you have a young fan base how important was it to you that your clothing line be affordable?

That's what I like about it. I wish more people would do inexpensive lines. I like it when celebrities design for places like H&M. I hate buying stuff that's so expensive. How can you justify spending $900 on a pair of shoes? (When I was growing up) I really thought Payless was the only shoe store in the world. ...I really wanted to create something so kids have options and can wear clothes that are fun.

Are you conscious of not making items too short, tight or skimpy?

Because I grew up on a kid's show ("All That" and "The Amanda Show") I do feel like I have young fans, but there are a lot of 30-year-olds and parents who say (to me), "I picked up your jeans." That's why I try to keep it classic combined with what young girls would like. My mom and sister wear it all the time. I like to keep it chic and use classic colors.

A note

Someone with the name of ABNews e-mailed me and told me there has been some discussion over articles and pictures posted here on different Amanda fansites.

I want to make it clear that I do not steal things from other Amanda sites. All of the articles I post come from Google Alerts or are e-mailed to me by other Amanda fans. If I do use an article I give the original source or ask for permission. The same goes for photos.

I'm not looking to fight or compete with other Amanda sites. I myself have sent other Amanda Bynes fansites things that they don't have and vice versa. We're all fans, so the more websites out there, the better.

Thanks for everyone who visits!
